Acer launching iconia w3 tablet for Rs. 30,499

Acer Iconia W3 hold the peculiarity of being the world’s smallest Windows 8-powered tablet. It is the first proper rival of the admired Apple iPad mini and the surfeit of Android tablets like Google Nexus 7 and Samsung Galaxy Note 510. At the commence event, we played a bit with the device for a hands-on review.

Acer also launched its ultrabook Aspire P3, which weighs 1.3 kg and is 0.77 mm thick. It features a 11.6-inch HD display, optional InteCore i3 and i5 processors, 4GB RAM, Intel HD graphics, a 120 GB hard drive and Dolby audio. Ultrabook comes with front and rear cameras, connectivity options like Wi-Fi, bluetooth, micro-HDMI, USB 3.0. Acer bundled the device with a protective case and a bluetooth keyboard and is available for Rs 49,999, the company said.
